Dodd Civil Consultants undertook the civil engineering design and observation of the civil construction elements for this project. The Project was a four-hectare site which included 17,000sqm freight terminal and 2,000sqm offices with the balance of the site under pavement for light vehicle access and parking, heavy truck movements around the entire building and a large reinforced concrete hard standing for container handling and storage. All works were carried out in a professional, timely and helpful manner. I would have no hesitation in recommending Dodd Civil Consultants for any similar projects.

Dodd Civil Consultants have carried out the civil design and observation services on over 20 projects for us over approximately a 14 year period. One of the more recent projects of significance is the Sistema Manufacturing Facility in Mangere. The building structure covers over 55,000sq.m area. Dodd Civil Consultants carried out the civil design and observation for pavement, public road extensions, sewer reticulation, stormwater reticulation and water supply. Their knowledge of subdivision processes on this project allowed an early start to the building bulk earthworks while the subdivision creating the site lot was completed. All work was carried out professionally and at the standards expected by ourselves. We would have no hesitation in recommending them for future project such as this or other civil projects.

Dodd Civil Consultants have been associated with "temperzone" since May 1999 and have continued to provide engineering services since that date. Initial work was to provide for an extension to our existing warehouse, this included bulk earthworks, roading and drainage works. These works were "observed", "certified" and "as-built" by Dodd Civil Consultants. These works provided approximately 15,000m2 of building and pavement combined.Since then we have undertaken further extensions with the latest being an extension of 3,060m2 to our manufacturing area. This required bulk earthworks, a reinforced earth retaining wall, accessway extension and drainage to the building and pavement. Dodd Civil Consultants continue to provide civil design, Resource Consent preparation and observation to this ongoing project. During these projects Dodd Civil Consultants have maintained a high level of communication and have delivered a timely and high standard of service. Strathallan College Property Ltd wishes to acknowledge the efforts of several key people who helped us to open the School on time in February 2001. To transform the site from a cow paddock in September 2000 to a functioning school in February 2001 was quite a feat, and one that many believed couldn't be done.
